Company Description
A highly successful post start-up company on the verge of significant growth is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer to prepare the group for rapid expansion.
Key Responsibilities
Internal:
- Manage and control the financial resources of the parent company, its subsidiary companies and development projects;

Provide overall direction for treasury & corporate finance functions;

Manage and build a team to develop finance functions;
-
Execute all aspects of reporting, budgeting, strategic planning and project profitability analysis and pricing;
-
Define key financial metrics for management and investors;
-
Establish and refine financial policies and systems to improve management efficiency and effectiveness
-
Build out processes to manage cash flow requirements and balance the AR/AP;
-
Advise senior management on financial aspects of the business including evaluation of profitability, costs and financial resources;
-
Define HR policies and related investments and expenditures.

Provide overview and management of investment documentation, term sheets, corporate structuring and finance;
-
Manage the corporate entities and secretarial responsibilities;
-
Manage and consolidate the accounts from multiple entities;
External:
- Engage and work with financial institutions and strategic investors to secure optimal funding sources;
-
Support capital raising activities including engaging with investment banks, venture capital firms and investment advisors;
-
Participate in the selection, engagement, negotiation and management of external suppliers e.g. auditors, lawyers, and corporate secretaries;

Work with external investors through due diligence;
In addition, the ideal candidate will have the following attributes:

The ability to work under pressure in a rapidly changing environment

Sound business judgment
-
Proven Experience in finance & accounting and business administration

Excellent presentation skills, and the capacity to maintain good relationships with bankers and investors;

Solid educational credentials; MBA CPA/CA/ACCA would be preferred;
-
A minimum of 10 years experience in accounting, investment banking and corporate finance;
-
Willingness to Travel;
