Great article in the Monocle Magazine on digital novels and breaking down the numbers between mobile and PC.

The graph really says it all, but look at the growth on the mobile and these numbers are 2005. We are entering 2008……Is there a trend that we will see expanding globally?

With Manga continuing to spread globally, 3G penetration growing, “all you can eat” mobile data packages, new phones with great resolution, bigger screens, this is definetly something to watch out for.

Japan btw has 80% 3G penetration in a country with a population of 120+M.
